What to expect from a lesson
My studio is equipped with two pottery wheels and ample space for hand-building projects if you prefer. Please let me know in advance so I can prepare the clay accordingly. Clean aprons and towels are provided at the studio, but you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
We'll start with a demonstration from me, then move on to creating some simple forms. This gives you time to get comfortable working with the wheel and the clay. I'm guided by what you'd like to make. If you have something in mind, please bring your ideas, drawings or pictures! If not, I have plenty of ideas and shapes for you to explore. Just relax and let me guide you through the process. Please note that handles can't be added on the same day of making, but cups without handles are a great option!

After your work has been bisque fired, I'll apply a clear glaze for you, which can take 2–4 weeks. If you'd like to come back and add a coloured glaze to your pieces, we can arrange that - feel free to discuss it with me before or during your lesson.

Please email me for more details and to book your session.
"Thank you so much for today and always accommodating. You are a truly fantastic teacher and artist and your work is unequivocally amazing. Such a great experience!"
